Athletics Team Karben (ATK) was founded in October 2019 by members of the creative collective TerraTrash—athletes who took things into their own hands. From day one, they built a lean, athlete-first structure that moves fast and cuts through the bureaucracy found in traditional German sports clubs.Unlike conventional clubs that grow elite programs out of mass sports or rely on football revenues to fund smaller disciplines, ATK operates independently and with full creative control.
