This 3D environment was created in Unreal Engine 5 and explores the new possibilities of real-time rendering and advanced foliage systems. The scene represents a traditional Japanese garden set in the Muromachi period, with a strong focus on historically accurate architecture and storytelling. The assets were created using Blender and SpeedTree to achieve a high level of detail and realism. From the initial concept and research to the blockout and final production, every aspect of the project was developed entirely by myself. Smaller assets were created using 3D AI tools — including the Asics shoe — to demonstrate how increasingly efficient workflows allow for high-quality results with less manual effort.
